As we teeter close to the end of August, we know the inevitable ending of summer is very near. As summer leaves, with it goes the day-long barbeques, the countless hours of tanning, the sundresses and tank tops, and the unforgettable makeup trends. This summer women really pushed the bar with bright and eccentric makeup looks, and we loved every single one of them! Here is a round up of Gloss and Glam’s favorite summer makeup trends from 2012:
Bright Pink Lipstick- We are absolutely obsessed with this makeup trend! What screams flirty and feminine like Barbie pink lips?
Bright blue eyeliner- Who needs cliche black eyeliner when you can use blue? Switching up your eyeliner from black to blue will draw all attention to your eyes..and everyone knows your eyes are the window to your soul, so stare away!
Bronzed cheeks- Of course we all like to bask in the sun throughout the summer, but using makeup for a bronzed effect is much more safe. Besides, sun doesn’t give you an elegant shimmering look to your cheekbones.
